Composting site

The residual solid is transformed into compost with the help of wood residues, fertilizers and other products. All purification and composting steps are regularly supervised by specialists to ensure the absence of any contaminant.

The compost obtained can eventually be spread in flower beds and lawns and in fields, according to the standards of the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks.

The following materials are accepted for composting:

  • dead leaves
  • grass
  • cedar
  • wood chips and sawdust
  • brown bins (under agreement with municipality)

The following subjects are not accepted:

  • pine thorns
  • branches (temporarily refused)
  • wastewater contaminated with oil or gasoline
